The mission of the Foundation for California Community Colleges is to benefit, support, and enhance the missions of the California Community Colleges. One of the ways we support this mission is by supporting employee engagement and well-being through our generous benefit plan.
The rewards of being a Foundation team member are not limited to altruistic feelings of a job well done. The Foundation prides itself on providing its full-time employees with a comprehensive company benefit plan. Our benefits package provides 100% paid medical to our employees and, for a small premium share, to their spouse/domestic partner, and dependents. Employees can elect dental and vision for themselves, their spouse/domestic partner, and dependents for a small premium share as well. The Foundation also provides $50,000 life insurance coverage for employees, an Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts, Tuition Reimbursement and Voluntary Life Insurance. Our retirement benefits include membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), and the option to participate in the 403(b) and 457 supplemental retirement plans.
