In conjunction with Santa Clarita Community College District, The Foundation awarded a competitively solicited RFP for live and off-line captioning and transcription services.  The Distance Education Captioning & Transcriptions (DECT) for California Community Colleges program is intended to aid the colleges in improving their capacity to serve disabled student populations and, in some instances, the general public, by ensuring the accessibility of aural information.
