	Student Assistant FAQs Why does my paycheck come from the Foundation for California Community Colleges and not the agency where I'm working? How many units must I be enrolled in to qualify for the Career Pathway program? How can I find out if my college/university is affiliated with the Foundation for California Community Colleges? How many hours can I work in a week? Can I work full-time? Do I qualify for benefits as a student assistant? I'm taking a semester off before enrolling in graduate school. Can I keep my job? I will be graduating soon, can I continue my employment after graduation?

By giving directly to the Foundation, you help us expand our commitment and service to Community Colleges.

Give to the Endowment
The Foundation, in collaboration with the entire California Community College system, has embarked on a mission to build a $100 million Scholarship Endowment by June 2011.

Who we serve

The Foundation serves as the official foundation supporting the Board of Governors, Chancellor’s Office, and the entire California Community College system, including 112 colleges and 72 districts, serving 2.9 million students.
