As Vice President of Communications and Technology, Bryan Miller oversees the Foundation’s marketing, communications, and technology projects. Miller works with a team of communications strategists, skilled in outreach, branding, publication, and web design. Over the past decade, Miller and his team have been recognized with over 40 awards at the state, regional, and national level for excellence in marketing, communications, and design.
Miller has over 20 years of experience in the design and communications field. Prior to working at the Foundation, Miller served as Creative Director for the Strategic Communications Division of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, where he won a Gold award for the design of the CCC System Strategic Plan website. He attended American River College and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle.
- Developing branding, marketing, and outreach strategies for the Foundation’s workforce development program, including LaunchPath, the newly developed student internship matching and badging technology tool and website.
- Supporting the Foundation’s student success efforts through multiple outreach channels and campaigns, including the award-winning Step:Forward student awareness campaign and website, which are designed to increase momentum toward improving student success in the California Community College system.
- Creating and implementing a statewide awareness campaign that increases awareness and use of the Smog Check Referee program, a consumer assistance service located on Community Colleges campuses throughout the state.
