Bryan Miller

Vice President of Communications and Technology

Bryan Miller is Vice President of Communications and Technology at FoundationCCC, where he is responsible for overseeing the teams responsible for statewide communications and technology initiatives.

Miller is recognized as an edtech thought leader and an award-winning graphic designer, with a distinguished track record of success in the California Community Colleges system. He previously held the position of Creative Director for the strategic communications division of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office before joining FoundationCCC in 2007.

Miller manages FoundationCCC’s marketing, communications, and multi-platform technology design and development initiatives, with a particular focus on partnership development and collaboration to further systemwide initiatives. Through his visionary leadership, Miller has played a pivotal role in advancing greater access and success for California community college students.

Foundation Highlights

  • Leads communications, technology, and business development strategy for FUSION, the Centralized Clinical Placement System, and Program Pathways Mapper
  • Instrumental strategist and key collaborator for the design and launch of the nation’s first fully online community college
  • Spearheading design and implementation of the Student Centered Design Lab to align student-facing tools, communication campaigns, and processes and policies systemwide

Miller is a proud alumnus of American River College and graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle. A former city commissioner for economic development, as well as a founding board member of FutureReady – the Mayor’s Trust for Youth, Miller is passionate about improving young people’s lives through civic engagement, college and career readiness, and work-based learning.
