As Chief Financial Officer, Julian Roberts oversees all financial activities of the Foundation, including reporting, budgeting, planning, and investment management.
Roberts has over 10 years of experience working in finance and strategy roles with large nonprofits, federal and local government agencies, and international governments. Previously, he was the Strategic Planning Manager at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) where he developed and managed the enterprise-level strategy program. Prior to CFPB, he worked in the finance and fundraising divisions at Special Olympics International and Population Services International, focusing on complex analytics and reporting as well as systems implementation.
Roberts is a California Community College alumnus, transferring from American River College to UC Berkeley and receiving a Bachelors in philosophy. He then completed his graduate work at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, earning a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Health.
