Constance Crawford is Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. As a member of the Foundation's Advancement team, Crawford cultivates new partnerships to benefit, support, and enhance the California Community Colleges. In this role, Crawford also provides strategic support to the Network of California Community College Foundations focused on professional development, networking, and advocacy for advancement.
- Led an emergency individual giving drive that resulted in more than $55,000 distributed to wildfire survivors affiliated with half a dozen California community colleges. More than 870 students and 139 staff of one community college lost their homes in one devastating wildfire. Even as that fire burned and the college was used as an emergency command center and then evacuated, concerned Californians looking for ways to help found it through the Wildfire Relief Fund.
- Manages scholarship distributions supporting approximately 4,000 California Community College students each year from the more than $75 million California Community Colleges Scholarship Endowment
- Facilitates industry advisory groups guiding grants from the Nursing Education Investment Grants and the California Community College Real Estate Education Endowment
A skilled business development leader, prior to joining the Foundation Crawford held strategic marketing and communications roles to grow philanthropic support. She served as Capital Public Radio’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations and the Sacramento Tree Foundation’s Outreach Services Director. Crawford currently serves on the board of directors for the Sacramento SPCA.
Crawford proudly attended Cerro Coso Community College, earned her bachelor of arts in communications from the University of California, Davis, and her master of arts in communications from Sacramento State.
