Stacy Fisher

Her current project within the Success Center is overseeing the design, piloting, and implementation of Vision Aligned Reporting. This statewide, comprehensive reporting system focuses on collecting the information needed to understand how state reform efforts impact equitable student success.

FoundationCCC Highlights

• Led and successfully completed work funded by the Driving Reform grant. This $6 million multi-funder grant included many efforts including testing a district-level approach to Guided Pathways and development of a multi-year change management plan for the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office.  
• Oversaw the design, piloting, and refinement of a comprehensive reporting process for the California Community Colleges system. This pilot led to the approval of over $3 million in funding for FoundationCCC to build a statewide tool and oversee its first three years of implementation.

Fisher’s career reflects dedication to academic and institutional research. Previously, as a Research Specialist at the Chancellor’s Office, she honed her expertise in data analysis and policy development. Prior to this, she spent over a decade as a professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, imparting knowledge in her field and driving insightful research. Now, as a Senior Director, she is pioneering major student success reforms at FoundationCCC.

Stacy Fisher holds a Ph.D. in political science and government from University of California, Davis, enriching her work with deep academic insight. Earlier, she earned her B.A. in international trade and development from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, after completing her general education at Cuesta College.
