Grants and Resource Development

The Foundation works with our partners to take innovations from concept to implementation and works closely with the Chancellor's Office and the Community Colleges to identify and secure resources to move forward key systemwide initiatives.

Program Management

Our program staff manages complex philanthropic, state, and federally funded projects, as well as self-sustaining programs, designed to improve education in California.

Fiscal Sponsorship and Management

The Foundation provides fiscal sponsorship—including accounting, human resources, administration, contracting, and technology services—to mission-aligned programs.

Cooperative Purchasing

Educational institutions and public agencies can save money on furniture and supplies through CollegeBuys contracts with approved vendors.

Communications and Outreach

The Foundation provides services in branding, marketing, and publication and web design, and conducts major outreach campaigns that reach California Community Colleges' diverse communities. 

Software Development

The Foundation develops software to enable mission-aligned projects and partners to reach constituencies, collaborate virtually, and manage data or complex facility research.

Technical Assistance

Expert teams guide planning and implementation processes to support stakeholders in creating positive impact in programs and practices. Our support includes training, facilitation, and support for Communities of Practice.

Customer Service Call Center

Our bilingual Call Center assists consumers with smog check appointments at local Referee stations and for other programs and services of colleges and their partners.

Endowment Management

The Foundation leverages almost $100 million in centralized investment funds that increase the rate of return, ensuring funding is available for future generations.
