Building Strong Communities

Community colleges are vital keystone institutions located in every community and region of California. When they thrive, their communities thrive, too.

And when our students and colleges rise to the challenge of supporting their communities during extraordinary circumstances like wildfires, economic disruptions, and disasters resulting from climate change, we are ready to assist them, offering emergency financial support during their time of greatest need.
 

Lifting Up Students

The greatest obstacle our students face is meeting basic needs like food, housing, and health care while pursuing a college degree or certificate. Through the generosity of donors like you, we offer scholarships and emergency aid and connect them to peer ambassadors to help them find support so they can stay in school. 

By doing so, we lift up generations that previously had not had access to higher education. 

 

Meeting California's Growing Workforce Needs

A California Community College education is a proven path to good jobs that meet the state’s workforce needs. 

Through programs like California Resilient Careers in Forestry, apprenticeships, internships, career education, and paid employment opportunities, FoundationCCC helps students become key members of their communities who help shape California's current and future workforce.
