Centralized Clinical Placement System Announces Launch of Student Ready to Streamline the Healthcare Clinical Placement Process for Students

CCPS-Student Ready simplifies clinical onboarding processes and makes compliance tracking easier for students and clinical faculty.

SACRAMENTO, CA—February 8, 2022—The Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) has announced the launch of a new product, CCPS-Student Ready, which helps streamline the nursing student clinical placement process. The launch of Student Ready helps improve the existing user experience for CCPS, an easy-to-use online tool which simplifies the nursing and allied health compliance process for students, schools, clinical sites, and faculty.

Using CCPS, schools and clinical providers can maximize their region’s student clinical placements, find new vacancies and clinical opportunities, and build nursing education capacity through increased efficiencies. The new features will help schools rapidly match their placement needs to provider-defined clinical availability, and allow clinical providers to efficiently manage a single placement schedule. Features include:

  • Clinical sites can create a listing of requirements and upload associated documents
  • Schools can easily invite students and faculty to register and have easy access to view rotation details and a listing of clinical requirements
  • Students and faculty can easily upload and submit required documents for attestations
  • School administrators can easily complete the attestation process online
  • Clinical sites can confirm readiness of students by viewing student rosters and attestation details

As the coronavirus pandemic surges across the nation, healthcare providers are facing a crisis-level shortage of staff to provide adequate care for patients. Nursing and allied health students need to complete educational requirements as quickly and efficiently as possible to fill the growing shortage of healthcare staffing. CCPS-Student Ready streamlines clinical onboarding processes and makes compliance tracking easier for students and clinical faculty.
