Dyslexia Connexion envisions a future in which Californians with dyslexia-related barriers to success are rare—so people with dyslexia can participate fully in a world in which the ability to easily read and write is assumed.
Because school is where people with dyslexia face their most daunting challenges, Dyslexia Connexion aims first to assist education systems to change, including shifting how educators are trained to support students who struggle to read and write, from pre-kindergarten through high school, college, and in adult education.
Dyslexia Connexion also helps improve access and awareness in other systems, such as health care, literacy programs, public benefit programs, workforce development programs, and other social services.
