CCC GIS

Mapping the California Community Colleges.

CCC GIS provides a common repository for the various maps, documents, links, and other tools we are collecting in our ongoing work. The maps produced over time will help to answer questions important to the mission of the California Community Colleges, including questions about regional demographics and population growth, election histories and bond election planning, enrollment forecasting, enrollment patterns of neighboring districts, workforce development, facilities planning and maintenance, and more. The site will also expand to provide access to our finished products and other resources to help better understand and serve the 115 physical California community colleges and their students, faculty, and administrators.

Highlights

  • Maps of all 72 physical districts and 115 physical campuses are available on the CCC GIS website interactive feature.
  • 40 colleges use the Foundation’s purchasing program for CCC GIS software.
  • 2,425 campus buildings are mapped and available; more are being added weekly, about 50 percent of all the campus buildings in the state.
