Career Experience Suite is currently engaged in the Work-Based Learning Planning and Tools Pilot, an 18-month project designed to help colleges, community college districts, and Strong Workforce Program (SWP) regional consortia take work-based learning to scale. Participating colleges will build system capacity and help refine technology tools to provide students with greater access to quality work-based learning opportunities. This effort will help colleges achieve their SWP goals and Guided Pathways objectives.
The Pilot consists of two phases:
Phase I: Planning and Capacity Building
Participants will develop work-based learning plans, articulating their primary objective, goals, and systems and resource requirements to provide quality work-based learning at scale.
Phase II: Technology, Tools, and Services - the Career Experience Suite
Participants will receive access and technical support to implement the Career Experience Suite of tools: Here to Career, CareerXP, and Career Catalyst.
The pilot is the result of a partnership between the CCCCO Workforce & Economic Division and the Foundation for California Community Colleges. Implementing partners include Jobs for the Future, WestEd, and New World of Work.
