Nursing Resource Center

Caring for those who care.

A better way to build nursing educational capacity.
The Nursing Resource Center is a suite of Internet-based services that helps maximize nursing education capacity  by streamlining placements and exposing new opportunities for school-hospital relationships.

Nursing Resource Center

The NRC features two primary Internet-based tools: the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) and the Centralized Faculty Resource Center (CFRC):

Centralized Clinical Placement System
The Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) streamlines the clinical experience scheduling process and exposes untapped openings, allowing programs to increase enrollment.

Centralized Faculty Resource Center
The Centralized Faculty Resource Center (CFRC) aims to address the need for qualified and willing educators by creating a one-stop resource that connects nursing professionals and schools of nursing.

About Us

The Centralized Clinical Placement System and Centralized Faculty Resource Center were designed by the Foundation in partnership with HealthImpact, funded through a grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. The NRC was piloted in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2004, and has since expanded to Los Angeles and Bakersfield, California; South Florida; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Houston-Galveston, Dallas, Texas; Hawaii; and Charleston, South Carolina.
