Jodi Lewis
Jodi Lewis is the Director of Strategic Projects and Initiatives within the Success Center at FoundationCCC.
In this role, she propels equitable student success through policy reform and implementation. She champions initiatives that advance the goals and commitments of the Vision for Success to improve students’ economic mobility and meet California’s needs.
FoundationCCC Highlights
- Leads a unit in the Success Center that leverages philanthropic funding to design and implement initiatives that help the Chancellor’s Office advance equitable student success.
- Partners with the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office to implement policy reforms that are equity- and student-centered.
- Provides strategic thought partnership and resources to help colleges better serve learners who are older (25+), are working, and/or caregiving.
Jodi joined FoundationCCC in 2018 to lead an initiative to expand credit for prior learning in California community colleges through policy reform and resource development. Prior, she led strategic communications at Sacramento State’s Education Insights Center and was a researcher focused on postsecondary access and success at the Institute for Higher Education Leadership & Policy (IHELP). Jodi co-founded and co-directed the California Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP), in partnership with the Institute for Educational Leadership.
Jodi earned her B.A. in political science and English from Mount Saint Mary’s University and her M.A. of public policy and administration from California State University, Sacramento, with a certificate in collaborative governance.
