Arnold Apaguio

Arnold Apaguio is a second-generation Filipino American educator with over 20 years of experience in higher education. He currently serves as the Director of Student Life at Chabot College. His background in Student Affairs includes multicultural centers, residential life, student activities, and student government. Arnold strives to develop student leaders, remove barriers to educational access and resources, and help students discover their best authentic selves. Arnold’s work is grounded on advancing justice, healing, and liberation through education.

He also works to help develop fellow educators serving on the APAHE Board of Directors and the California Community College Filipinx Collaborative, and has held leadership roles in many other professional organizations. As part of his own professional development, Arnold is a graduate of LEAP Advance program and was part of the inaugural cohort of the Aspiring Radical Leaders Institute.
