César Tlatoāni Alvarado
César Tlatoāni Alvarado (he/they) serves as the Student Trustee for the 2023-2025 academic school years. They were recently elected as Regional Affairs Director for Region Eight of the California Community College system through the SSCCC. César is a political science and world languages major, with a passion for politics, activism, and advocacy.
As a first-generation college student, César is a member of the Indigenous, Mexican-American, LGBTQIA+, and Neurodivergent communities.
Currently residing in West Covina and raised in Paramount, César enjoys a variety of hobbies including staying active, learning languages, dancing, gardening, painting, playing with his dog Zoë, and spending time with his friends and chosen family.
César is dedicated to uplifting and empowering the voices of all students, especially those from marginalized communities. His tenure will focus on equity, transparency, and accountability—not only for himself but also for the Board of Trustees, the College as a whole, and the broader community college system. César looks forward to listening to student input and working to meet the needs of all students.
