Claire Fisher
Claire Fisher is the Senior Director for AI Strategy at FoundationCCC.
She leads the technology and data-driven AI efforts to enable the California Community Colleges and other higher education institutions to increase student access, persistence, and career placement.
Claire is a results-oriented and reliable business leader with equal commitment to operational excellence, business growth, and empathetic “people-first” methodologies. She is driven to help people build thriving careers by creating strong talent pipelines and strategic partnerships across K12 education, higher education, and employment.
She began her career as a Teach For America corps member and was a high school math teacher and school leader in New Orleans. As an awardee of the Stanford GSB Social Innovation Fellowship, she founded a national nonprofit organization called The Arena to strengthen the school to work pipeline. Claire grew its team and impact, serving 100,000 students at 30+ public districts and schools through designing and implementing career training and employment programs as well as open-source guides on training, jobs, and pathways.
Claire has a joint MBA and M.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Education, a M.A. in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. from Stanford University.
