Dina Pielaet

Dina Pielaet is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with 14 years of service within the Ventura County Community College District. Over the past 3 years, she has been serving as the marketing, communications, web design, and multimedia coordinator at Moorpark College. Her commitment to fostering inclusivity is evident through her role as the spectrum club advisor for LGBTQIA+ students and her coordination of MC PRIDE month. Additionally, Dina actively contributes to the multicultural, caring campus, and strategic committees on campus.

Her journey spans over 35 years as a business owner and employer, where she served as the publisher and creative director of Ventura Life Magazine, and an adjunct professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her contributions to the community were recognized with the Mayor’s Art Award for Creative Entrepreneur in Ventura, C.A.

Driven by a passion for higher education programs and initiatives that prioritize quality of life and foster a sense of belonging, Dina advocates for safe spaces where students and staff can truly thrive.
