Jeffrey Bui

Jeffrey Bui (they/them) is a queer first-generation college student that is passionate in social justice and student advocacy. At Los Medanos College (LMC), they had the privilege to chair the LMC Associated Students where they voiced student needs and issues pertaining to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. Additionally, Jeffrey rechartered the LMC’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) student club and worked closely with administrators to address LGBTQIA+ issues that they saw on campus. GSAs are leading the work to create safe and LGBTQ-inclusive schools, and student organizers are the nation’s most powerful base for creating change. Today, Jeffrey is continuing their education at UC Berkeley to complete their B.A. in Anthropology.
