Jill Leufgen


Jill Leufgen is the Director of Strategic Policy, Innovation, and Research in the Success Center at FoundationCCC.
In this role for the Success Center, she focuses on advancing policies that support the economic and career mobility of California community college students. In this role, she provides research and evaluation, policy development, and strategic planning to support the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office.

With a decade’s experience in workforce and community college programs, Leufgen led the Strong Workforce Program at the Chancellor’s Office and contributed to user-friendly data tools and performance metrics. At Social Policy Research Associates, she evaluated U.S. Department of Labor initiatives. Most recently, as the first Director of Research for the California Interagency Council on Homelessness, Leufgen played a crucial role in establishing the state’s homeless data system and statewide performance metrics.
Leufgen holds a Master of Arts from the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, both in Sociology.
