Julie Nichols

She leads a team of giving professionals specializing in connecting donors, philanthropists, and their advisors to giving opportunities that lift up the lives of all Californians through the power of the California Community Colleges. Julie is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), an internationally recognized certification for philanthropic advisors.

• Designed and implemented annual giving and corporate giving programs resulting in essential funding for students and communities in need.

Julie has more than 20 years of experience in the leadership of non-profit organizations, fundraising, special event coordination, corporate and foundation relations, grant writing, and administration. Julie began her career in development at the University of Pennsylvania and she has raised philanthropic gifts for numerous nonprofit organizations. Before joining the FoundationCCC team in 2021, Julie was Interim Associate Vice President of Philanthropy at California State University, San Bernardino. 

An alumna of the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing at Spalding University, Julie holds a MFA in screenwriting. She also earned a B.A. in theatre arts from Thomas Edison State University.
