Sarah London is the Senior Director of Executive Communications, overseeing strategic communications, brand positioning, and storytelling for FoundationCCC.
She acts as the organization’s primary media contact and leads promotion of organizational announcements and milestones. As an advisor to the Executive Team, Sarah provides counsel on communications and thought leadership, and helps maintain FoundationCCC’s brand and reputation through public relations, employee engagement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Led the announcement of the Jay Pritzker Foundation’s historic $100 million gift to the California Community Colleges.
- Created FoundationCCC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Framework.
Sarah has 8+ years of experience in social impact and nonprofit communications. Prior to FoundationCCC, she worked with Elle Communications, where she led media outreach and thought leadership for brands and social enterprises, including Orbis International, Biossance, and The Little Market. She also held account management roles with Grayling, an international PR and public affairs firm, and Runyon Saltzman, and worked with the Sacramento Kings, Sacramento River Cats, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern California.
Sarah is a proud community college alumni, having attended American River College and Sacramento City College. She received her B.A. in communications with an emphasis in public relations from California State University, Sacramento.
