Katie Kutz

Kutz leads key Human Resources functions, including benefits and compensation, leave and workers’ compensation programs, talent acquisition, HRIS management, and HR compliance. She partners closely with executive leadership to align people strategies with organizational priorities, ensuring HR programs are compliant, operationally effective, and support a high-performing, engaged workforce.

Kutz brings more than a decade of experience building and scaling human resources functions across national and global, high-growth organizations. She has a track record of implementing scalable systems, strengthening compliance frameworks, and improving operational efficiency through data-informed decision-making.

Prior to joining FoundationCCC, Kutz served as Director of People and Culture at a global, remote-first technology company, where she led enterprise-wide people operations and partnered with executive leadership as a strategic advisor. Her experience spans both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, enabling her to effectively balance organizational priorities, employee experience, and regulatory requirements.

Kutz holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is passionate about fostering inclusive, people-centered workplaces and is inspired by FoundationCCC’s mission to expand opportunity, strengthen communities, and support the success of the California Community Colleges.
