Donor Advised Funds
FoundationCCC appreciates donations from Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), which are charitable giving accounts available through many financial institutions. IRAs and Retirement Accounts
If you are age 70 ½ , donating directly from your Individual Retirement Account to FoundationCCC could have significant tax advantages. Donations may be made from some other types of retirement accounts, too. Contact your financial advisor or gifts@foundationccc.org for more information.
Bequest and Trusts
Making a bequest in your will or living trust can be a way of supporting FoundationCCC’s work while maintaining your assets during your lifetime. A bequest can be for a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or for a particular asset.
Sample language may include: “I, [name], of [city, state ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to the Foundation for California Community Colleges [a specific amount or percentage of your estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.”

Use the power of peer-to-peer outreach to help California Community College students experiencing unexpected financial hardships. You can help students persist in meeting their educational goals by fundraising for FoundationCCC’s Student Relief program which provides financial support when students need it most.
