FoundationCCC lifts up the lives of all Californians through innovative programs and services that support the 116 California Community Colleges and nearly 2 million students living and working in communities throughout the state. Since 2018, we’ve been working towards a bold mission to double our impact by 2028, finding new ways to support students, colleges, and communities.
Thanks to the generosity of partners like you, we’ve been able to expand our programs in meaningful ways – but we know there remains much more to be done.

Building Strong Communities
Community colleges are vital keystone institutions in every community and region of California. When they thrive, their communities thrive, too. And when our students and colleges rise to the challenge of supporting their communities during extraordinary circumstances like wildfires, economic disruptions, and disasters resulting from climate change, we are ready to assist them, offering emergency financial support during their time of greatest need.

Lifting Up Students
The greatest obstacle our students face is meeting basic needs like food, housing, and health care while pursuing a college degree or certificate. Through the generosity of our partners, we offer scholarships and emergency aid and connect students to peer ambassadors who help them find support so they can stay in school. By doing so, we lift up generations that previously had no access to higher education.

Meeting California’s Growing Workforce Needs
A California community college education is a proven path to good jobs that meet the state’s workforce needs. Through programs like California Resilient Careers in Forestry, apprenticeships, internships, career education, and paid employment opportunities, FoundationCCC helps students become key members of their communities who help shape California’s current and future workforce.

Nahid N., California Community College Student Ambassador
A first generation immigrant, Nahid assisted California community college students who needed food and other basic needs as part of her service as a Student Ambassador. More than 465,000 students have received help through this signature FoundationCCC program. We can continue to expand this impact together and support students like Nahid in their journey to help their peers and improve whole communities.
