Real Estate Education Grants

Supporting community college real estate education.

Real estate education grants are intended to fund projects for the improvement and development of real estate education.

Current and Past Grantees

Since 1975, annual grants have typically been awarded to a community college for hosting the California Community Colleges Real Estate Education Center (Center). For the past five years and currently, Saddleback College has been the recipient of the grant and host of the Center. The Center actively promotes quality real estate education in California’s community colleges. The Center works with instructors to ensure quality instruction and actively encourages and supports students seeking vocational real estate and appraisal education.

Grant Program

The Real Estate Education Grant Program provides an opportunity for applicants to propose projects that promote, enhance, or advance the proficiency of real estate practitioners through real estate courses provided by California community colleges, in alignment with the priority needs of the field. One award was made in 2021 to Saddleback College to continue hosting the California Community Colleges Real Estate Education Center.
