21st Century Skills Badging

21st Century Skills Badging

The 21st Century Skills Digital Badging project was a collaboration between the Foundation for California Community Colleges and the New World of Work (NWoW) initiative, which worked to establish California Community Colleges as essential catalysts for expanding the state’s workforce and closing the skills gap. The badges were based on employer-driven essential 21st Century Employability Skills identified by New World of Work.

This project received support from the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, and was funded by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO). For information on current Workforce Development initiatives visit the CCCCO Workforce and Economic Development Division.
