Announcing the 2026 Real Estate Education Grant Program Awardee

The South Orange County Community College District / Saddleback College was recently selected as the recipient of the 2026 Real Estate Education Grant, awarded $105,000 to continue serving as the home of the California Community Colleges Real Estate Education Center.
For the past decade, Saddleback College has hosted the Center, which serves as a statewide hub supporting real estate and appraisal education across the California Community College system.
Through this grant, the Center will continue its work:
- Supporting faculty professional development and peer collaboration for real estate and appraisal instructors statewide
- Coordinating resources and communication with state regulators
- Promoting scholarships for students pursuing real estate education
- Advancing curriculum and program quality across the California Community College system
The California Community Colleges Real Estate Education Center offers support statewide to all real estate programs at community colleges, making it a vital resource for ensuring consistent, high-quality real estate and appraisal education throughout California.
Administered by FoundationCCC, the Real Estate Education Grant Program provides an opportunity for applicants to propose projects that promote, enhance, or advance the proficiency of real estate practitioners through real estate courses provided by California community colleges, in alignment with the priority needs of the field.
