Ali Shull is the Director of Marketing and Creative Services at FoundationCCC.

Ali brings more than two decades of experience in marketing, communications, creative direction, brand development, and digital experience. At FoundationCCC, she leads a multidisciplinary team spanning project marketing, design, web, UX/content, and creative strategy. She has helped evolve Marketing and Creative Services into an integrated strategic partner, expanding its capabilities across marketing, creative direction, digital experience, and emerging technologies.

FoundationCCC Highlights

  • Developed the original concept and led creative direction for Resilient Careers in Forestry’s “Meet Your New Co-Workers” campaign, reaching millions of Californians across digital and out-of-home channels and earning FoundationCCC a Telly Award.
  • Led marketing, content, and digital experience strategy supporting the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office systemwide evolution of CCCApply to CCCStart, translating research and user insights into audience-centered messaging, user journeys, and experiences.
  • Developed FoundationCCC’s multidisciplinary Marketing and Creative Services model, integrating project marketing, design, web, UX/content, marketing, and creative direction to expand support for FoundationCCC programs and systemwide partners.

Shull built her early career across major consumer brands, agency environments, and mission-driven organizations, leading marketing efforts at Cole Haan during its ownership by Nike. Her work also supported organizations including KQED, the Sierra Club, Center for Biological Diversity, United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Napa Valley Vintners.

Her move into California community college work was intentional. As a California community college alumna and parent who watched her sons navigate the system, Shull saw an opportunity to apply her experience to communications and digital experiences that could directly support student access and opportunity. She went on to lead communications and marketing at Napa Valley College before joining FoundationCCC in 2021.
