Christian Espinoza


Christian Espinoza (he/him) is a queer Latino and first-generation college student at San Bernardino Valley College and a Ph.D. candidate in Education – Urban Leadership at Claremont Graduate University. His work focuses on advancing equity, access, and belonging for LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities in higher education. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of NavigateED Solutions, Christian partners with colleges and nonprofits to strengthen support for marginalized students through inclusive programming, equity-centered training, and digital strategy. His leadership has extended to statewide initiatives through the UC Berkeley Labor Center and the UCLA Dream Resource Center, where he has championed policy efforts to improve educational and workforce opportunities for all students, regardless of immigration status. Currently serving as Student Trustee for the San Bernardino Community College District, Christian advocates for student representation, mental health access, and systemic reform across community colleges. Grounded in lived experience and policy advocacy, Christian’s work uplifts historically marginalized voices and reimagines education as a space rooted in justice, compassion, and collective transformation.
