Emily Ekenstam
Emily Ekenstam is the Executive Director of Technology Solutions at FoundationCCC.
An experienced and certified technology project manager, she sets the vision and determines the direction of technology programs and services, ensuring alignment with critical stakeholders and partners with the purpose of creating sustainable and scalable, statewide technology solutions. Emily is responsible for growing FoundationCCC’s Technology Solutions Hub, supporting innovation and continuous improvement for technology initiatives, programs, and projects that serve the community college system.

Prior to joining FoundationCCC, Emily excelled in project and data management at SRA International and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department. There, she pioneered strategic plans for law enforcement information sharing and facilitated multi-state system connections. Additionally, she contributed her expertise as a voting member of key committees, including the IBM Customer Advisory Board and the Department of Justice Smart Justice Executive Steering Committee.
Emily earned her B.A. in English at California State University, Sacramento after attending Mt. San Antonio College. She also obtained certificates in Project Management and Marketing & Product Development from University of California, Davis.
