Geneve Villacres

Geneve Villacres is Head of US State Public Policy at TikTok USDS JV, overseeing state-level engagement across all 50 states. She leads work focused on state legislation and regulatory engagement, and collaborates with content creators to highlight the economic impact TikTok has on state and local communities.

Villacres has held senior communications and public affairs roles across both the public and private sectors. She previously served as Deputy Director of Communications for the California State Assembly Democrats under the Speaker, supporting statewide legislative and policy priorities. She also held the position of Community Relations Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where she developed a workforce strategy centered on local and diverse hiring and managed a portion of the company’s education philanthropy portfolio.

Villacres earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach. She has served as Vice Chair of the board of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of the Sacramento Asian Chamber of Commerce.
