Jennifer Perry

Jennifer Perry has been the driving force behind the Children’s Action Network as its Executive Director since the organization’s founding in 1990. With a steadfast dedication to California’s educational system, she has also been a member of the California Community Colleges Board of Governors since 2015.

Before her current roles, Jennifer held a variety of positions, including Director of Public Affairs at Act III Communications, Director of Special Projects for Senator Alan Cranston, and Staff Assistant in Congressman Mickey Leland’s office. Her unwavering commitment to children and youth advocacy has earned her recognition from the National Child Labor Committee (NCLC) and the Congressional Coalition on Adoption.

In addition to her numerous accomplishments, Jennifer is a board member of the Children’s Law Center of California. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the prestigious Yale University.
