Julie Olson
Julie Olson’s commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments has led her to various roles, all driven by her passion for student success. Currently, Julie serves as the Program Lead for the LGBTQ+, Native American Student Support & Success Program, and the Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Student Achievement Program at the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. In this role, she extends her dedication to empowering students across California at a state level, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
Her earlier work included contributions within the Los Rios Community College District, where she advocated for and provided essential support to historically marginalized students.
Julie earned her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College of Moraga and her master’s degree in Higher Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Sacramento State University.
In her free time, Julie competes in triathlons and enjoys spending time with her partner, friends, family, and two dogs.
