Kirtley King

Kirtley King (they/them) has over 25 years of experience teaching art at the community college level. They currently serve as the President of the RASFA Rainbow Alliance Staff Faculty Association, are a member of the LGBTQIA+ Task Force for Clovis Community College, and sit on the College Presidents Advisory Board for LGBTQIA+ community.
They earned a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Art Academy in studio art and found their passion in teaching and making art. In their time teaching, they have been involved in equity work at the class, college, and district levels to continually look to break down the barriers for student populations that have historically been marginalized. Kirtley King is excited to be able to work at the state level to continue building an educational system that is equitable for all and trauma informed.
