LeAnn Fong-Batkin


LeAnn Fong-Batkin, Ed.D., is the Project Director of Intersegmental Data Systems at FoundationCCC.
Fong-Batkin provides consultation and facilitation for the implementation of the California Cradle-to-Career Data System and other intersegmental data projects. She is passionate about data systems, equity for all students, intersegmental collaboration, and educational policy.
She brings years of experience to the FoundationCCC team, including program and project implementation, intersegmental relations, and state government knowledge.
FoundationCCC Highlights
- Co-planned the creation of California’s Cradle-to-Career Data System (California’s first statewide longitudinal data system)
- Expanded FoundationCCC’s capacity to think about data systems and its relationship with intersegmental relations (K-12 and higher education), including how to determine measurable outcomes for programs
Fong-Batkin has over 25 years of experience working with California’s state agencies, including California State University, Sacramento, the California Department of Education, the California Community College Chancellor’s Office, and the California State Auditor’s Office. Before joining FoundationCCC, she was the Executive Director of Education Insights at California State University, Sacramento.
Fong-Batkin received her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, her Master of Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, and her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of California, Davis.
