Michael Quiaoit


Michael Quiaoit is the Senior Director of Equity and Community Impact at FoundationCCC.
Higher education has been a cornerstone of Quiaoit’s life and career for over 20 years, built on his work as an equity warrior and a firm belief in the power of education to enhance an individual’s career mobility. In his role at FoundationCCC, Quiaoit works to expand equity initiatives, particularly with our impact partners, to support educational access and success for all.
FoundationCCC Highlights
- Responsible for the oversight of over half a billion dollars in state allocation to colleges for equity work
- Created and implemented a new national sales support department that served colleges statewide
Quiaoit has worked in higher education since 1996, beginning as a counselor at California State University, East Bay. Since then, he has worked as a trainer, policy analyst, project director, acquisitions manager, and communications manager. Prior to joining FoundationCCC, he worked for the California Community College Chancellor’s Office for seven years as a Dean in the Office of Equitable Student Learning, Experience, and Impact.
Quiaoit holds a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from California State University, Stanislaus.
