Minfang Gao

Controller

Minfang Gao is the Controller at the FoundationCCC, where she oversees the finance department and leads its financial and day-to-day business operations.

She is responsible for internal controls, financial reporting and analysis, annual audits and tax returns preparation, new accounting standards implementation, government regulatory compliance, the organization’s financial health, and strategic directions support.

As a seasoned Controller and certified public accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of financial management and business operation experience, Minfang has a proven track record of making positive changes with for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including tech, legal search consulting, education, e-commerce, and banking.  Prior to joining FoundationCCC, she served as Controller at the Asian Art Museum and held various financial positions at the Nueva School, Mochi Media Inc, and MLA Global.  She is often credited with improving the financial position and scaling of a business. 

Minfang earned her MBA in accounting from California State University, East Bay and a B.A. in international finance from Shanghai University. She is an executive member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
