Neill K Kovrig

Neill Kovrig (he/him) is a Student Services Technician for the Office of Student Affairs at the San Diego College of Continuing Education. He serves as the current President of the San Diego College of Continuing Education Foundation and as a Classified Vice President for American Federation of Teachers Guild Local 1931, and is the Immediate Past President of the San Diego College of Continuing Education Classified Senate. He is a long-standing advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and visibility, being the charter president of the Kiwanis Club of Hillcrest All-Inclusive, an LGBTQIA+-forward service club in San Diego; and as a nationally-recognized softball and football official for LGBTQIA+ sports organizations. His graduate area of study focused on the LGBTQIA+ community in San Diego, and the impacts of the community on post-modern urbanization.
