Paul Burwick

Paul Burwick serves as Senior Online Learning Specialist at Shasta College, in the California North Sate, where he has supported online teaching, learning, and student success for more than a decade. He currently chairs Shasta College’s LGBTQIA+ Advocacy Panel and is committed to creating environments where LGBTQIA+ students and employees feel safe, supported, valued, and affirmed. His work includes advancing accessible online learning, supporting faculty development, advocating for LGBTQIA+ students and employees, and fostering learning environments where all students can succeed and feel a sense of belonging. As a facilitator and presenter, Paul values collaboration, lifelong learning, and building communities where students know they belong and have every opportunity to succeed.
