Taisha McMickens
Professor
Taisha McMickens (she/her/hers) holds a Docror of Philosophy in Communication Studies from the University of Denver and is a double alum of California State University San Bernardino. She is a Communication Studies professor and Umoja program co-coordinator at Chaffey College. She served as the GLBTQ Division president for the National Communication Association. Taisha’s scholarship critically examines the intersection of race, gender, sexuality, and media through Black feminist and queer intercultural frameworks.
