Tanya Garbolino
Tanya Garbolino is the Director of Workforce Development at FoundationCCC.
Tanya provides strategic leadership within FoundationCCC’s workforce development department related to wrap-around support for learners and workers. She leads the implementation and expansion of Fresh Success, an innovative program that leverages federal dollars to help CalFresh recipients become more employable. She fosters partnerships with state and local government, community colleges, community-based organizations, and philanthropic funders to expand employment and training activities across California.

- Led the expansion of the Fresh Success CalFresh Employment & Training program, bringing over $9 million in federal funding to California to date.
- Established partnerships with nearly 20 county social services agencies and over 30 community colleges and non-profit organizations to implement CalFresh Employment & Training services to improve employability and economic mobility for low-income Californians.
With two decades of experience, Tanya focuses on serving low-income populations. She began by spearheading social marketing campaigns for California’s SNAP Education and now heads a program that extends SNAP Employment & Training across the state. Her expertise encompasses managing obesity and nutrition initiatives, post-award government grant oversight, and financial control of a diverse $8+ million project portfolio. Previously, she also directed eight statewide social change marketing campaigns for the CA Department of Public Health.
Tanya received her MBA with a concentration in marketing and her B.A. in business administration with concentrations in strategic management and marketing from California State University, Sacramento.
