Thaïs Springer

Thaïs (she/her) is a passionate LGBTQIA2S+ advocate and recent graduate of Mendocino College, where she earned her AA-T in Communication. She established the Pride Program at Mendocino College, founded and advises the LGBTQIA2S+ club, and coordinates Pride events across the main campus and its satellite campuses. Thaïs has been instrumental in creating affirming spaces for queer and trans students in rural Northern California. With a deep belief in visibility, the celebration of diversity, and intersectional equity, she brings collaboration, leadership, and a spirit of unconditional love and affirmation to every space she enters. Thaïs is transferring to Cal Poly Humboldt to continue studying communication with a minor in advocacy. She is honored to join the advisory board and looks forward to helping build stronger support networks across California’s community colleges.
