Empowering California’s future through connected education data.
Every Californian deserves access to trusted information to navigate education and career pathways. That’s the vision behind C2C Forward.
California’s Cradle-to-Career Data System is building a statewide foundation that connects early childhood, education, and workforce outcomes. C2C Forward strengthens that work by bringing added capacity, innovation, and partnership support to help the system grow, reach more communities, and deliver insight that drives real-world improvement.
The Power of Partnership
As FoundationCCC’s newest Collaborative Impact Partner, C2C Forward aligns strongly with our commitment to improving student transitions, strengthening systems, and expanding opportunity across California. Our partnership will help accelerate progress, deepen equity, and support clearer pathways to educational and economic mobility by expanding the reach and impact of Cradle-to-Career.
The 2025 California Master Plan for Career Education elevates the Cradle-to-Career system as a critical driver of the state’s work to connect education and workforce pathways. Through this partnership, we will contribute to the state’s long-term vision with stronger tools, broader access to insight, and more actionable data for communities.
Launching Soon: The Data Fellows Program
C2C Forward’s inaugural initiative will convene 5–10 expert fellows from universities across California to work directly with the Cradle-to-Career team. Fellows will expand capacity in data science, engineering, research, and security to support faster development of dashboards and tools.
The goal is to improve how data is made accessible to researchers and partners, strengthen processes that support responsible use, and ultimately, provide better information to help residents make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.
C2C Forward is helping build a data system that can adapt and grow to meet California’s evolving needs for generations to come.
