Real Estate Education Scholarships

Supporting community college real estate education.

The Real Estate Education Scholarship Program is designed for eligible, economically disadvantaged students who are interested in pursuing a career in real estate. By providing financial assistance to cover the cost of attending a California community college, the program can help break down financial barriers that might otherwise prevent these students from pursuing their educational goals.

NOTE: As of September 20, 2024, all available funding for the 2024-25 academic year has been allocated to colleges. FoundationCCC will continue to accept invoices from colleges on a standby basis. If any funds are returned to FoundationCCC throughout the year, the standby invoices will be paid on a first in, first out basis.

Scholarship Funds

Funds are determined each year by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office based on annual investment earnings of the scholarship endowment. Scholarship funds are disbursed on a first-come, first-serve basis, and we encourage colleges to submit invoices as soon as possible.

A total of $60,000 is available for the academic year 2024-25 with the following award amounts:

  • $600 per semester, adjusted proportionately for quarter term colleges
  • $1,200 per academic year

Student application period: September 2, 2024 – April 30, 2025 or until all funds are allocated. Are you eligible? Refer to the guidelines at the bottom of this page.

Supporting Students Pursuing Careers in Real Estate

In collaboration with the California Community Colleges Real Estate Education Center (CCCREEC), FoundationCCC launched the Real Estate Pathways Endowment campaign to raise additional scholarship funds. Due to an increase in scholarship demand, these funds have been allocated quickly. This endowment will fund additional scholarships for eligible students in real estate and appraisal programs.
