Building Connections, Advancing Impact

Over the past month, FoundationCCC teams have been actively engaging with partners across the state to advance opportunities for California’s students. From strengthening connections at the C3CONVERGE 2025 Summit to supporting innovation in apprenticeships and workforce education at regional conferences, these events highlight our shared commitment to collaboration and impact.

  • The California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office and the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC) were proud to host C3CONVERGE 2025, a national convening that highlights the critical roles of community colleges in addressing climate challenges. The event provided a platform to share insights, build partnerships, and explore solutions that move Vision 2030 forward.

C3CONVERGE brought together diverse voices from education, industry, and government to explore solutions that will shape a more resilient and sustainable future. The event’s agenda reflected a holistic approach to climate action, focusing on the unique strengths of community colleges in sustainability, workforce development for climate-ready careers, and community resilience.
  • The following week, FoundationCCC co-hosted the inaugural Advancing California Apprenticeship Summit at the Riverside Convention Center, which brought together educators, employers, and workforce partners to expand access to high-quality new and innovative apprenticeship opportunities. During the event, the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network, a FoundationCCC Collaborative Impact Partner, celebrated the commitment of stakeholders across systems to collaborate, partner, and support the creation and scaling of equitable earn-and-learn pathways to high-demand jobs, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of California’s apprenticeship ecosystem. View pictures from the event >
