Sarah Billingsley

Billingsley’s role is designed to provide strategic leadership, thought partnership, guidance, and support for a diverse variety of projects, including FoundationCCC’s important portfolio of Collaborative Impact Partners.

Prior to joining FoundationCCC, Billingsley served as the Chief of Staff to the President at California State University, Sacramento, where she took on the primary roles of thought partner, problem solver, and bridge builder. She has over 20 years of experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in the areas of communications, media, management, and educational leadership. Having returned to college to finish her Bachelor of Arts as a mid-career professional, she is passionate about increasing educational attainment for working age adults.

Billingsley is a proud alumna of California State University, Sacramento. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Organizational and Instructional Communication Studies and earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (with distinction) in 2020.
