Greg Backley, President and CEO of the Automobile Club of Southern California, and Kirk Tramble, Founder and Principal of Kizata LLC, have been appointed to the Foundation for California Community Colleges Board of Directors following approval today by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors.

Building on more than two decades of investment in nursing education, the Foundation for California Community Colleges awarded $486,300 to San Bernardino Valley College and the CSU Fresno Foundation in 2026. Since 2005, the Nursing Education Investment Fund has invested more than $8 million in 37 projects strengthening California’s nursing workforce.
