Announcement: Filipinx Community College Collaborative Joins FoundationCCC as Impact Partner

The Filipinx Community College Collaborative, a statewide network of Filipinx administrators, faculty, and staff building and sustaining Filipinx learning communities and student success programs across California’s 116 community colleges, has joined the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC) as its newest Collaborative Impact Partner.

FoundationCCC joins @sjdeltacollege and communities across California in mourning Dolores Huerta, civil rights leader, farmworker advocate, and Delta alumna.
Her lifelong work advanced the rights of working families and inspired generations to recognize their own power to create change. Her journey included Stockton College, now Delta College, where she earned her teaching credential before becoming a leading voice for civil rights.
We honor her legacy and extend our condolences to her family, the Delta College community, and all who carry her work forward.

The @californiacollegesedu (CCGI), a Collaborative Impact Partner of FoundationCCC, is seeking an Executive Director to lead statewide work that puts college and career opportunities within reach.
CCGI manages CaliforniaColleges.edu, the state’s official college and career planning platform, helping students explore their options and take the next steps toward their goals.
As Executive Director, you’ll bring together education policy, partnerships, and organizational leadership to remove barriers for students. You’ll set strategic priorities, build trusted relationships with education leaders, policymakers, and funders, and guide the financial decisions that sustain this work.
You’ll also build on the expertise of a dedicated team. CCGI values leaders who listen closely, welcome direct and respectful feedback, and turn a shared commitment to equity into decisions and action.

Last month, @mdrc_news shared new work-based learning research during a webinar hosted by FoundationCCC. The research was commissioned by the Success Center for California Community Colleges, housed at FoundationCCC, and funded by the @californiacommunitycolleges Chancellor’s Office.
The research explores work experience education (WEE) and promising practices to support students at community colleges in California and across the nation.
